Here at CE Talent, we want our clients to Discover the Difference, but we also want to Make a Difference! We believe in making choices that can help make a difference in our own personal lives as well as others. We are very excited to report that we have chosen to focus our time, talent and treasure in helping to make a difference in the lives of children that have been thrust into a situation having no where to call home. Sunshine Acres provides a loving, wholesome home for children who are separated from their parents and helps them establish long-term relationships with stable parental figures, preparing them for success in adult life. Sunshine Acres also provides the emotional, social, physical, educational and spiritual support for the children in their care, so they may learn to manage their own affairs along with maximizing the development of their potential, abilities and interests. Their goal is to facilitate a child’s ability to function within a community environment in a style that is both meaningful and purposeful to themself and the community.  

Sunshine Acres admits boys and girls ages 5 to15 (at time of admission), without regard to race, religion or national origin.  Children come to Sunshine Acres Children’s Home for a variety of reasons. Some have parents in prison while others have lost their parents.  No matter what brings a child to our family, they can stay as long as they need a home, even through college.They can count on Sunshine Acres to provide...Love, Food/clothing, Medical care, Education (including college or trade school), Transitional Living, Counseling, Vacations, Sports and activities, as well as Many enrichment programs.

How can you help?  CE Talent will be looking to work with Sunshine Acres in a variety of ways to help make them as successful as they can possibly be so in turn they can help as many people as possible.  Here are some ways you can help.

The founding story of DA8 Strong is one of triumph and blessings during  a time when the Abbott family needed love and support the most. The outpouring of support from not only friends and family but from within the community was so significant that they were able to regain a quality of life that was so quickly taken from them.  Through all the trials that even continue to this day, they have felt a strong calling to be able to pay it forward to help others reclaim their quality of life as well! Our goal here at CE Talent is to help support them with their mission to improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their families through charitable support, recreation and services at a time when life may seem to be getting the best of them. This foundation provides support through meal delivery, household bills, handyman services, house cleaning, transportation assistance, fitness, wigs, family recreation & much more. We hope to assist in making a difference in not only the lives of the cancer patients, but the family members as well!

In doing so, many of us have made the commitment to foster or adopt a four legged friend in need of a caring home and welcome them into our lives. It’s hard to explain the kind of joy that these critters bring, allowing us to not only decompress from our long days of stressful work and travel, but the security and companionship they bring us. Who doesn’t love to be greeted at the door by a swarm of wagging tails and loving kisses?! Sadly not everyone is currently properly situated to foster or adopt a pet at this stage in life to enjoy this kind of love and affection for the thousands of animals out there in need of a good loving home.

CE Talent recognizes all of this and is very excited to report that we have chosen to focus our time and treasure throughout 2016 in helping to make a difference in the lives of as many canine friends and human family’s as possible through an organization by the name of 2DaRescue. Here is their latest NEWSLETTER.  2DaRescue is an all-volunteer non-profit organization who rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs that have been abandoned. Partnering with local municipalities, outlying county shelters, and state wide Indian Reservations, 2DaRescue takes dogs in who are scheduled to be euthanized due to the lack of time and lack of resources available to care for them. Being an all-volunteer registered 501c3 non-profit organization, 100% of all donations are tax deductible and go DIRECTLY to the care and well-being of these animals. No salaries or bonuses are paid to any of the hard working individuals who have dedicated their lives and spend a large majority of their time away from their homes and families caring for these beautiful animals. Their mission is simply to save as many dogs as they possibly can. Our goal here at CE Talent is to help support them in finding forever homes for as many of these dogs as possible. We hope to be able to make a difference in not only as many canine lives as possible, but as many humane lives as well!
